National Kickboxing Teams Depart for World Championships in Italy

Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra) -- The national youth kickboxing teams, comprising male and female athletes, have departed for Jesolo, Italy, to compete in the World Kickboxing Championships.
The delegation includes 27 athletes, making it the largest Jordanian delegation to participate in the World Championships in the federation’s history. The participation reflects the growing number of athletes in the sport and the development of the national teams’ preparation programs, as well as the federation’s efforts to strengthen Jordan’s participation in international competitions.
The delegation is headed by Kickboxing Federation President and head of delegation Abdullah Abu Rumman. It also includes administrator Abtan Al-Awaisheh. Technical supervision and training are being handled by coaches Mohammad Farhan, Murad Al-Jarajreh, Oday Al-Maharmeh and Rawan Al-Hafnawi, while Yasser Khairallah serves as therapist.
The Jordanian delegation will seek to perform well and achieve the best possible results. The championship also offers the athletes an opportunity to compete against leading competitors from around the world and gain further international experience.
